Blargh. Another apology entry.

I haven't been active lately. Excuses: 1) School (that bitch) has started and 2) I got a severe concussion (riding my bike at in the dark without a helmet) a few weeks ago, second Sunday of the school year. I missed a ton and getting caught up has been waaaaay harder than any non-sadistic teacher would make it. I have giant projects due left, under, over, on, in, and right. 3) Also, I'm sick with either a cold or the flu. They're both going around and I have symptoms of each. 4) The laptop went screwy a week or two ago. It would turn on and everything, but when you tried to log in it wouldn't get passed the welcome screen. And as 5) devArt is blocked at school--which makes absolutely no sense seeing as they unblocked Facebook last year (I know; what the f?)--I've had very few chances to even touch a keyboard.

Other than that, my life goes like this:

Every morning I wake up with a burning throat and I can't stop coughing and sneezing, which of course makes the throat thing worse. All day I'm in agonizing physical pain, and emotional pain that is slightly more bearable. (yeah, melodrama, blah, blah, blah).

Oh, yeah. It was my sister's 12th birthday on the 2nd. Guess what my parents got her? a laptop. A freaking laptop. Claire doesn't need a laptop. I need a laptop, and they know that. /sigh/

One more halfway interesting thing: Thursday night I stayed up for four hours until 2:30 talking to my friend Nik (yes, that's how it's spelled) without getting bored once. We talked about dreams and books and ghosts and he's had some pretty freaky crap happen to him up in Astoria, though it's kind of hard to believe him.

We also talked for a while (not really seriously) about starting a new school club--the Grammar Nazis. For everyone who despises bad grammar as much as we do. And since my worst fear is of misused apostrophes, I can be the grammar Hitler, and he can be my Himmler. xD

I know, it sounds horrible--probably because it is, especially seeing as one of my best friends is Jewish. I love you, Liel, still. I'm sorry.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Oh, wait--obsession.
